2023 – Orlu zone Students Endorse Omeogo For Federal Reps Seat.
The entire students of Progressive Alliance for Orlu, Orsu and Oru East across the four main higher institutions in Imo state, namely Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Imo State University Owerri, Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education Owerri and Federal University of Technology, Owerri, has endorsed the APC candidate for Orlu Orsu and Oru East Federal Constituency, Hon. High Chief Canice Moore Chukwugozie Nwachukwu Omeogo, Ogbaturuenyi Na Orlu to represent them at the Green Chambers of the National Assembly.
This Meeting with all the chapter head together with their executives from the various institution in Imo state from Orlu Orsu and Oru East Federal Constituency, was well attended with Students numbering well over one hundred persons.
Speaking on behalf of the students, Igwe Anthony Obi thanked Omeogo who according to him, has supported the various institutions in so many ways, which prompted them to come together as a body to present him with an award and to ask for his continues support and encouragement. The students gave Omeogo three different awards and some other gifts and pledged their support for his candidature and also passed a vote of confidence on him as a process of endorsing him to represent them at the green chambers of the National Assembly after the forthcoming election.
The students who did not hide their feeling and happiness showers Omeogo with different kinds of songs as a sign of their affirmation to his candidature while Ugoeze Ohazuruike Josephine Chinazaekpere appreciated Omeogo on behalf of all.
Responding to these students across the various institutions in the state, the APC candidate for Orlu Orsu and Oru East Federal Constituency, Hon. High Chief Canice Moore Chukwugozie Nwachukwu Omeogo, Ogbaturuenyi Na Orlu, appreciated the students firstly for the awards, gifts and endorsement. Omeogo went further to inform the students, that supporting him without supporting his party and Gov. Hope Uzodimma who he referred as his boss makes no sense, as such he pleaded with them to give their full support to his party and the governor for his second term bid.
He further advised the students to take their studies serious for their own betterment and progress.
“I’m not going to the National Assembly for myself, but for all of you here today; we started this relationship a long time ago, let us continue to maintain it, once I win I have Programs that will help all the students in our federal constituency, let keep in touch. On 25th of this month please remember me and vote for me, I will not disappoint you” He concluded.
Those in the company of Omeogo to receive these students include, Dr. Emeka Enyinnaya, Chief Obinna Ebi, Dr. Duke Nwaka, Hon. Emma Okafor, the three Orlu LGA Development centers Cordinators, Cmr. Charles Nwachukwu and others.
