Just In : Orsu students honour Omeogo, pledge support
The Federation of Orsu Student Association (FOSA), Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Owerri chapter, on Thursday, honoured the APC 2023 candidate for Orlu, Orsu and Oru East Federal Constituency, Hon. High Chief Canice Moore Chukwugozie Nwachukwu Omeogo, Ogbaturuenyi Na Orlu with Excellence Award.

Presenting the award to Omeogo, leader of the students, HRH, Eze Uche Hippolitus Odinaka, said the accolade on Omeogo was in recognition of his excellent leadership qualities including his numerous contributions to the well-being of the society which he added distinguished him from other candidates competing with him in the election.
The students said having heard about Omeogo’s candidature and his good deeds to humanity across board, expressed happiness over the warm welcome and Omeogo’s fatherly advise. They promised him that they will study hard, assuring Omeogo of their partnership and total support to be able to win the election.
Receiving the award, Omeogo admonished the students to take their studies serious to come out with good grades which will not only make their parents happy, but prepares them for a better tomorrow.
He also told them not to be involved in any thing that may bring shame to their parents and the society at large which may lead to the destruction of their future.
Omeogo pleaded with them to vote for him and his party at the forthcoming election, as he wished them well in their academic pursuit.
“Having passed through school, I know, getting a good grade involved hard work and dedication to studies. So, I am equally urging you to study hard as your tomorrow is prepared by today”, Omeogo said.
