Make your Choice or Join hands to choose one out of the Capable Brains in Akoko North East for Reps Seat – Abiye Charges electorates
The candidate of the NNPP for the house of representatives position for Akoko North East and West Federal constituency Hon Abiye Ademoyegun has re-emphasized on the need to maintain the exiting status of Rotational agreement between the Akoko North East and West for the federal House of representatives seat.
Abiye Ademoyegun in a statement released to our heritage reporter on Saturday morning explained that, there is need to maintain the laid down rules on the rotational movement between the local government not because of personal reasons or ambition but for the sake of peaceful coexistence between the two local governments.
According to her, our forefathers laid a good foundation and that birthed this rotational agreement which has helped us in the areas of development and prevented us from unnecessary violence.
Four years one term for each local government, we must not jettison what has prevented us from many embroglo for any reason,the two local governments should be given their period to represent at appropriate.
Shortshanging the chance of any local government is samething as signalling that no competent, effective and efficient person from a whole local government, and as it is at the moment, we have more than six of us from Akoko North East who are qualified and dutifully effective for this position..
Hence, we must join hands together to either make a choice or Collapse structure and pick one out of the six contentenders from Akoko North East since the local government is much favoured based on the rotational arrangements.
The labour of our heroes past must not be wasted , they know better than we do and that was why they sat to make the great step of proper rotation devoid of violence and accrimonies.
