Just In : Court Convicts, Orders Arrest Of PDP Governorship Candidate
……The Akwa Ibom PDP governorship candidate, Umo Bassey Eno has been found guilty and is now under arrest.
Umo Eno, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) candidate for governor of Akwa Ibom State, has been ordered to be arrested by a chief magistrate court in Wuse zone 6 of the federal capital territory (FCT).
….Eno’s arrest was reportedly ordered following his conviction for “cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property” by the court.
According to reports, chief magistrate Emmanuel Iyanna issued the arrest warrant on December 23, 2022.
The chief magistrate ordered, “You are hereby directed to arrest the said pastor Umo Bassey Eno and produce him before me.”
A source reportedly told newsmen that Eno was found guilty after the conclusion of the criminal case.
