Supporters Of Ondo House Leader, Ogunmolasuyi Trouped out enmmase As APC Flag-off Campaign in Owo

Methodist primary school Owo hosted the first All Progressives Congress (APC) flag-off after the party was formed in years back became a beehive of political carnival today, Thursday.
A mammoth crowd thronged the main bowl of the Methodist primary school, Fajuyi street Owo, as the ruling party returned to the city for its inaugural 2023 rally in the local government.
Clad in various shades of APC-branded vests, caps and Ankara brocade, a mass of the party’s supporters, who filled the school defied the searing heat from the sun to receive the APC candidates, hon.Ogunmolasuyi Oluwole West and other candidates
At 2:45pm, hon.West’s motorcade made a grand entry into the venue, moving the crowd into a spontaneous excitement. The APC candidate arrived in company of Commissioner of infrastructure hon.Rimi, Hon.Ekungba and other prominent party leaders.
The huge turnout at the rally again confirmed West’s popularity at his political base.
Hon.Ogunmolasuyi Oluwole West opened the floor with his short remarks, thanking the party leaders and the people of Owo constituency1 for laying the foundation for the physical and socio-economic growth being witnessed in the community
He said: “I stand before you all with a solemn promise that when we are all elected next year, we will continue and build on the progressive path laid forth by our party since since inception.
We have a clear agenda for the future of the constituency and with your support, we will work to achieve a better future for you and yours.
He said: “This is not the main rally for Owo constituency1. We are energising the base with this large turnout witnessed here today. When the main campaign is held, it will be the double of the crowd we see here today.”
Lastly, he further thanks the party units chairman, stakeholders and all in attendance.
