PULL DOWN THE GATES – Pastor Isaac Olutimehin
TEXT:
Judges 16:2-3 KJV.
“And it was told the Gazites, saying, Samson is come hither. And they compassed him in, and laid wait for him all night in the gate of the city, and were quiet all the night, saying, In the morning, when it is day, we shall kill him”.
[3] “And Samson lay till midnight, and arose at midnight, and took the doors of the gate of the city, and the two posts, and went away with them, bar and all, and put them upon his shoulders, and carried them up to the top of an hill that is before Hebron”.
MESSAGE
☆☆☆ The English dictionary defines a gate as follows:
1. A doorlike structure outside a house.
2. Doorway, opening or passage in a fence or wall.
3. Movable barrier.
☆☆☆ I love the third description of what a gate really is, a “barrier”.
☆☆☆ A gate is a form of a “barrier” meant to stop or challenge intruders from accessing a building or house.
☆☆☆ Gates are also erected for security purposes.
☆☆☆ There are physical gates and there are spiritual gates.
☆☆☆ Gates are more dangerous spiritually.
☆☆☆ Let’s look at some examples of what could be “gates” in the spiritual realm.
- Death of the first or the last born of a family.
☆☆☆ There are some families whose first or last born must die.
☆☆☆ Some families may be experiencing some mysterious deaths that they just can’t explain, it’s a spiritual gate.
☆☆☆ The bible recorded concerning Terah, the father of Abraham:
“Now these are the generations of Terah: Terah begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran; and Haran begat Lot”.
[28] “And Haran died before his father Terah in the land of his nativity, in Ur of the Chaldees” – Genesis 11:27-28.
☆☆☆ Terah lost his last born, I pray for you today; you will never know the burial ground of any of your children in Jesus name.
☆☆☆ Others may be experiencing unusual marital delays, it’s a gate.
☆☆☆ Many others may be having series of disappointments and even losses that are hard to explain. There are spiritual gates mounted against success and breakthrough of such people.
- Demonic symbols stationed at the entrance of some villages or towns.
☆☆☆ In a particular village, there is this stream that people must cross while stepping out or coming into the village. Anyone who crosses this river will suffer loss of glory, virtues and potentials. There is nothing such an individual can achieve that will remain with him.
☆☆☆ In another town, there is this structure mounted across the entrance in and out of the town. Whosoever passes under this structure equally loses his potentials. That structure swallows people’s glory.
☆☆☆ The bible says:
“And say, Thus saith the king, Put this fellow in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I come in peace” – 1 Kings 22:27.
☆☆☆ Beloved, there are rivers, streams or waters of affliction.
- Food can also be used, as a spiritual gate, to luck people out from fulfilling their destinies.
☆☆☆ A woman was given a loaf of bread by her mother in-law; she ate it and her womb was locked.
☆☆☆ Most times, this kind of demonic food can be served in the dream. Such food is used to introduce sicknesses and diseases into the lives of unsuspecting victims. Read 1 Kings 22:27.
☆☆☆ There is bread of affliction beloved. It is not every food you must eat.
☆☆☆ Many powerful and anointed men of God have lost their gifts and anointing through food.
- Demonic agents sent to accomplish evil agenda.
¶¶¶ Listen to this:
☆☆☆ A maid was sent to follow her sister who just got married. The lady couldn’t conceive for close to 10 years. One day she was in a program and there was a word of knowledge that “there is somebody here, a lady was sent from the village to be your maid when you newly got married about 10 years ago; that lady is responsible for your inability to conceive”. This woman returned home to challenge the maid who denied being an agent. However, while under some powerful deliverance prayers, this maid started rolling on the floor; shouting “I will confess”. She later went under the bed of the couple and brought out a red cap with charms round it. She confessed that each time the couple meets, she collects the semens into the cap.
No wonder the bible says: “And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household” – Matthew 10:36.
- Demonic individuals being used as spiritual gates.
☆☆☆ The head of a family was a demonic gate, blocking other members of the family from making headway in life. A sister was sick, her brother went to confront this demonic personality who is the family head. There was an argument and a fight. This man beat up the family head. He, the young man, eventually died a few months after the fight. On the day of his burial, the demonic family head looked down on him where he was laid and challenged him to rise up again and fight.
☆☆☆ The bible says: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” – Ephesians 6:12.
- The same fellow eating from your sweat can be the spiritual gate blocking your way.
☆☆☆ A young lady went to our father in the Lord, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E. A Adeboye; for prayers. Daddy prayed and told her that God said the fellow blocking her from getting married would die within 7 days. The lady went home and told her mother. Her mother requested to see daddy G.O. She went to challenge daddy for trying to set her daughter against her, by saying she was the one blocking her from getting married. Daddy responded that he never said so but God said whosoever is blocking her would die within 7 days. The woman requested to talk to daddy privately. It was then she confessed that her daughter was the only fellow taking care of her and that if she got married, who would now be taking care of her. Anyway, daddy assured her that her daughter would surely take good care of her after getting married. The lady was set free and she got married. -
Demonic spiritual attachment.
☆☆☆ A young lady was due for marriage but no husband. She was in a program and she prayed. In the night she had a dream. She saw herself standing by the altar about to be joined with her husband. Her veil was removed and the man she saw was her own father. She shouted No, impossible from her sleep. The following morning, she went to her father and explained what happened. Her father told her that after her mother died, he married her in the spiritual realm because she was an exact replica of her mother.
☆☆☆ How can a lady married to her own father in the spiritual realm get married in the physical.
PRAYERS
1. I pull down every demonic gate standing against my fulfillment in life.
2. On God my father, separate me from every demonic passonality exercising dominion over my life.
3. I cut myself away from every territorial demon in charge of my village or town.
4. Light of God, shine bright over my life to expose every agent of darkness hiding in my family.
5. Every seen and unseen gate, blocking my breakthrough, I collapse you now in Jesus name.
6. Father, please restore to me all my stolen virtues and glories in Jesus name.
7. Father, take over my battles and give me total victory in Jesus name.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS
I decree, every spiritual gate standing against your breakthrough; shall be uprooted today in Jesus name.
I command the powers of your father’s house and those of your mother’s house to lose their hold upon your life now in Jesus name.
I decree and declare, those demons assigned to monitor your life, shall lose their job from today in Jesus name.
Every demonic power from your place of birth, monitoring the progress of your life; I command them to go blind now in Jesus name.
I set all their monitoring gadgets ablaze from today in Jesus name.
You are free from their hold.
Step out and fulfill your destiny.
You are blessed.
