Grassroot Government, Restructuring, Tinubu’s Top Priority – Dr. Agogo, Hon. Ishaq Sa’id

The Secretary, Special Duties APC Presidential Campaign Council, Alh. (Dr) A. A Mai Agogo and Hon. Kabiru Ishaq Sa’id Member, Grassroot engagement and Orientation, North West APC Presidential Campaign Council has revealed that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Sen. Shettima’s top priority is to ensure a decentralized government at the grassroot level to meet the yearnings and aspiration of the citizens.

 

Alh. Dr. Agogo stated that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has through his manifesto “Renewed Hope” laid bare his practical plans to rebalance the responsibilities and authorities of the different tiers of government as well as collaborate with the National Assembly and State Governments to re-enact Nigeria’s governance architecture in such a manner that states and local government across Nigeria will be afforded the autonomy and resources needed to deliver democratic dividends to the grassroots.

 

Hon. Kabiru Ishaq Sa’id who is also the Director of Operations, I stand with Nigeria for Tinubu support group (ISWN4T) further explained that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Sen. Kashim Shettima’s administration when elected will ensure that critical items in the National Assembly exclusive legislative lists are transferred to concurrent list thereby empowering the states to enact laws over those sectors.

 

He further assured that Jagaban Nigeria having advocated for true Federalism over the years shall on assumption of office, through the instrument of legislation ensure that political congestion and competition for scarce resources at the federal level is reduced through a review of the federation revenue allocation and division of funds amongst the three tiers of Government to promote a grassroot government that will meet the yearnings of Nigerians at the local level.

 

On his part Amb. Timothy Nwachukwu member, I stand with Nigeria for Tinubu recalled that as Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency, Sen. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu created 37 LCDAs in Lagos state, thereby attracting growth and development to local Communities while providing jobs for over 20,000 people across the 37LCDAs.
