Omeogo’s visit to Oru East monarch, constituency delegates and its implications in 2023 election

Many will agree with me that politics is nothing, but a game of numbers. This means that in the game of politics more people are required to achieve a landmark victory.
Just like I mentioned in my part one article that the 2023 general election, from the look of things, is not going to be based by political party affiliation, but by individual whose past track records are unbeatable and speak volume.
As each day breaks, many politicians are uncertain of their victory, while some who have performed wonderfully in their various localities are happy that their people are solidly behind them. Some, their election will be across party lines, while others it will be the best time to change them. The facts are that many incumbent politicians will lose after the 2023 election, just as the few selected good ones will win their elections at easy.
Let us not forget that consultations and Royal Blessings seeking is a special ingredients in the game of politics and it takes a grassrooted politicians and true leaders like Omeogo to be involved in it.
What happened in Orlu, Orsu and Oru East recently, has shown how prepared and ready the APC candidate for Orlu Orsu and Oru East Federal Constituency, Hon. High Chief Canice Moore Nwachukwu popularly known as Omeogo Ogbaturuenyi na Orlu is for the forthcoming poll.
Yes, the Traditional Rulers are the custodians of traditions and cultures. If any of their subjects wants to go far in his or her life endeavour most especially in politics, consulting and seeking their Royal blessing is sinequanon to their support and victory.
The APC candidate visits to traditional rulers in his constituency is significant which none of his political opponent has done so far.
To continue and complete my article on the All Progressive Congress (APC) House of Representatives candidate for Orlu, Orsu and Oru East Federal Constituency, Hon. High Chief Canice Moore Nwachukwu popularly called Omeogo Na Orlu, recent political activities, I want to use the outstanding outing to paint the picture of what will happen after the 2023 general election.
Omeogo is gradually telling his people that he is not going there to be a bench warmer rather to change the narratives, create room for more employment, champion human capital development for women, men and most importantly youths like him. One of the good benefits the people get from voting a particular leader during the election is not for the immediate money he or she gives or promises during the campaign period, but the dividends of democracy he or she will render to people after their victory.
Public pinions have it that other candidates who are contesting the sameb position with Omeogo should go and make peace with him now the election has not started. Many people are of the opinion that since Omeogo embarked on consulting traditional rulers at a time when many are hiding themselves because of peculiarities of the zone, what then will happen during the campaign proper?
Having stated this, it behoves me to talk about Omeogo’s visit to monarch of Oru East, HRH, Eze Philip O. Uzodinma, the Ononenyi 1 of Ozuh Omuma, who is also the Chairman, Community Policing and Traditional Institution of Oru East LGA.
In furtherance to pursuing his aspiration to represent the people of Orlu, Orsu and Oru East Federal Constituency in the forthcoming election, Omeogo, on Sunday, 28 September, 2022, paid a consultation and homage visit to the Palace of Eze Uzodinma.
At the palace, special events played out as who is who in the LGA warmly welcomed him while describing Omeogo as the best candidate who will rescue them with huge employment opportunities, human capital development and the creation of Constituency office if he wins the election.
All the speakers without exception said one good thing or the other about how and where they met Omeogo. Their words about him ranged from him being good, sociable, reachable, accessible, philanthropic, truthful, outspoken, reliable, reputable, straightforward, lovable among other encomiums. They went further to say that Omeogo is the only person qualified for the job and they all joined their voices in affirming that they are solidly behind him.
To back up their support, three cows were donated to host Omeogo. According to them, in a big way to buttress their support for Omeogo’s Political Movement. They urged Eze Ononenyi to give Omeogo his Royal Blessing to fortify him as he is the one they want and he is their trusted son in whom they affirmed they are well pleased.
Also, to show you the kind person Omeogo is, he paid a thank you visit to all the delegates from his Constituency who despite different candidates were involved in the party primaries, chose to give him (Omeogo) their votes which saw to his victory.
There, Omeogo pleaded with them not to leave him alone, that he is going to the House to represent them effectively and to support the Governor in his determination to rehabilitate, reconstruct and recover Imo State.
Hence, the Omeogo Political Movement is calling on the people to continue to support Omeogo and vote him so that the ugly narrative of poor representation of the constituency would be corrected. Look beyond political party affiliation which is only a vehicle, but the contents of the candidate.
