Independence: The future is now, we must reposition our nation, Ogundare implores constituents.
The Social Democratic Party (SDP) Candidate for the Owo/Ose federal Constituency seat, Hon. Oluwaseyi Gabriel Ogundare, has implored Nigerians, especially members of his constituency to remain focused on building a nation for all.
In a special independence message, the Imoru-born politician urged the younger generation to use their energy to reposition the nation’s lost virtues in other to re-enact the country back to her leading position as the giant of Africa.
“In all sincerity, Nigeria is still a work in progress and we are challenged every day to keep building despite the various impediments that we face. Our stability has been in our diversity. I implore us to forge ahead, with good faith, even as we collectively rise to change the narrative.” He said.
Even as we approach the 2023 general election, Ogundare emphasized the need for everyone to participate actively in decision-making.
“The future is not embedded in vision 2030, the future is now! And we must all come together, irrespective of our political, religious, and ethnic affiliates, to build our nation and rescue our motherland from the hands of myopic leaders.
In his words he said “it is high time our constituency is delivered from the hands of political canker worms that are only interested in their selfish interest. Independence means freedom and self government,
I admonish Owo/Ose constituents to take a decision of dictating what we want in our dear constituency and the nation at large. Freedom is what independence is all about and this is what we must stand for in the forthcoming elections.”
Ogundare further prayed for peace, and stability in the country. “We are faced by different social menace and the fabrics of our existence under frequent attack, but we keep hope in God for change in the narrative, and we also implore our leaders to be responsive to these issues
