16-Year-Old Student Found Brutally Murdered inside Technical School Premises
According to Ahmed’s father, Comrade Musa Mohammed, a journalist, political analyst, and activist, his son’s body was discovered within the school premises with visible signs of brutalisation and strangulation.
Adevastating incident has occurred at the Government Technical College in Malali, Kaduna State, where a 16-year-old student, Ahmed Musa, was found brutally murdered on Sunday, February 16, 2025.
According to Ahmed’s father, Comrade Musa Mohammed, a journalist, political analyst, and activist, his son’s body was discovered within the school premises with visible signs of brutalisation and strangulation.
He said, “Ahmed’s body was found within the school premises – Government Technical College, Malali, Kaduna – with physical signs of brutalisation and strangulation.”
Comrade Mohammed has appealed for a comprehensive investigation to uncover those behind his son’s death, stating, “I wish to call for adequate compensation by those found to have a hand in the death of Ahmed Musa.”
The tragic incident has dealt a severe blow to the family, as Ahmed was the only son to his mother.
“Ahmed Musa being the only son to his mother, his death has dealt decisive blow to the family,” he added.
The community is in shock, and authorities are urged to take swift action to bring the perpetrators to justice.
Efforts by SaharaReporters to contact the State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Mansir Hassan, were unsuccessful.
He did not answer calls or respond to a text message seeking his comment on the incident at the time of filing this report.
In recent years, Kaduna State has faced security challenges, including incidents of violence affecting schools. This case underscores the urgent need for enhanced security measures in educational institutions to safeguard students.
For instance, on March 7, 2024, over 200 students, some as young as seven, were abducted from a primary and secondary school in Kuriga, Chikun Local Government Area. The students were later rescued by the military.
Also on March 11, 2021, armed assailants attacked the Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation in Afaka, kidnapping 39 students. After several weeks in captivity, they were eventually released.
