Just In : Northern Speakers Unveil Door to Door Campaign for Tinubu
The All Progressives Congress APC Speakers in the northern region have unveiled a door-to-door campaign for Tinubu/Shetima in the coming national elections.
The regional coordinating chairman (North) Alhaji Mohammed Badaru Abubakar MON, mni, Jigawa state Governor, said the flag off of the door-to-door campaign is in line with the Tinubu/Shetima campaign organization to mobilize support for the country in 2023.
According to the Governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shetima are assured of victory with the kind of support they enjoy in the nineteen northern states.
He added that, “Tinubu had distinguished himself over time as a champion of democracy during the military era and a consolidator of democracy under the present dispensation. With such an antecedent, we can not hope for a better President come 2023.”
While speaking, the Chairman of the Northern states Speakers forum, Yusuf Zailani who is also the Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, said “Indeed their combination is no doubt very strategic and will bring victory to APC. In fact, is the winning formula. Let no one feel otherwise.
“As chairman of the Northern States Speakers Forum, I am informing the general public that Speakers under the platform of our great party have flagged off the door-to-door campaign to support our Presidential Candidate and his running mate for the next year’s (2023) election next year.”
The flag-off of the campaign which is taking place at the Sheraton hotel in Abuja is attended by the Presidential candidate of the APC and his running mate, progressive governors, and all speakers of APC states among others.
