DIGGING FOR EVIDENCE? – Pastor Isaac Olutimehin
TEXT
Daniel 6:4 KJV.
“Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him”.
MESSAGE:
¶¶¶ Some people enjoy taking delight in digging into the past of others for any incriminating evidence.
¶¶¶ It is even more amazing when those involved in this habit are people whose lives are crying for repairs.
¶¶¶ The “presidents” and the “princes” (highly placed individuals), were those finding occasion against Daniel.
¶¶¶ Were they themselves clean?
¶¶¶ Beloved, as it was then, so it is today.
¶¶¶ Some people are eagerly waiting for you to make mistakes that they can catch in on for their own gains.
¶¶¶ I remember years ago, I drove past a particular route in Lagos, on my way out. I took same road on my way back home. Suddenly I was arrested by some council officials who said I was on a “one way” road. It was amazing that they were just erecting the sign post, indicating “one way”, when I was arrested. It wasn’t one way on my way out but became “one way” on my way back.
¶¶¶ You could imagine how many motorists would commit same offense, on that day on the same road.
¶¶¶ Beloved, in the spiritual realm, the agents of darkness are waiting for your errors.
¶¶¶ This is why you must be on the alert as children of God.
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour” – 1 Peter 5:8.
¶¶¶ When the bible talks about “the adversary”, don’t always think of the devil.
¶¶¶ Beloved, your wife, husband, siblings, colleagues in the office, church members, ministers, friends, etc; can be “the adversary”.
¶¶¶ Those who rebelled against Moses in Numbers 12:1 were ministers of God.
¶¶¶ Those who sold Joseph into slavery were his siblings.
¶¶¶ Beloved, the man who doesn’t make mistakes, is the man who is not ready to take risks in life.
¶¶¶ If you are destined for greatness, the devil will be after you.
¶¶¶ If the devil leaves you alone, then you aren’t disturbing his kingdom.
■■■ However, you must be ready to learn from past mistakes and make amends so that the devil doesn’t take unnecessary advantage of you.
¶¶¶ Your prayer should always be that as you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, the rod and the staff of Jehovah God will be your guide.
PRAYERS
1. Oh God my father, don’t allow me to run into errors that the devil will use as an “evidence” to destroy me.
2. Father, any habit in me that the devil may work on to destroy me, please withdraw such from me today.
3. Father, don’t allow me to play into the hands of those waiting for my destruction.
4. Please Lord, overlook my errors and wipe away my mistakes in Jesus name.
5. In the name of Jesus, my life shall not run according to the dictates of the devil.
6. Father, let those digging into my past for errors, dig out facts that will hasten my lifting.
7. My father, my father, let my life become an epistle that will draw men unto the gospel.
8. I shall not depart this world unfulfilled in Jesus name.
9. Lord, don’t allow me to work in the opposite direction of your plan and purpose for my life.
10. Father, give me the grace to live a life without spot or wrinkle in Jesus name.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
¶¶¶ In the name of Jesus, I decree concerning you, those who are waiting to use your mistakes as catalysts for their own rising, shall remain at the peak of the ladder of failure in Jesus name.
¶¶¶ I decree and declare, anyone waiting for your errors shall shamefully wait in vain in Jesus name.
¶¶¶ In your place of work, I decree, you will not fulfil the dictates and wishes of destiny destroyers in Jesus name.
¶¶¶ I decree and declare, anyone digging into your past for errors, to be used against you, on the day of your elevation; shall be exposed and disgraced in Jesus name.
¶¶¶ The wicked will neither find occasion nor fault to negate your chances for divine lifting in Jesus name.
¶¶¶ In the name of Jesus, I decree, you will not play into the hands of those who are waiting to use your faults against you.
¶¶¶ I decree and declare, the faithfulness of God shall remain your guide in Jesus name.
¶¶¶ On the day of reckoning, mercy shall speak for you in Jesus mighty name.
¶¶¶ Your white garment of truth, honesty and faithfulness, shall not be polluted by the wicked in Jesus name.
¶¶¶ In the camp of those enemies plotting ways to pull you down, I decree, the wrath of God shall be upon them in Jesus name.
¶¶¶ You will laugh last and laugh the best in Jesus mighty name.
