International Youth Day: SDP Reps Candidate, Ogundare Harps on Youth Inclusiveness
As Countries all over the world celebrate this year’s International Youth day, a day meant for governments and others to draw attention to youth issues worldwide, we must keep emphasizing the necessity to integrate the youth into the political system of our Nation.
As this day marks an awareness day and draws attention to a given set of cultural and legal issues surrounding youth. This day is also celebrated to throw light on the participation of youngsters, which carries the potential to form better and more sustainable policies.
The theme of International Youth Day 2022 “Intergenerational Solidarity: Creating a World for All Ages”, is peculiar to our current reality in Nigeria even as we approach a critical decision-making period in the country, the 2023 general elections.
As a young person, I am fully participating in politics to set the pace and change the rotten narratives that have eaten deeply into the fabric of our Nation.
I charge all Nigeria Youths, most especially in my Constituency, Owo/Ose, to embrace the dogged and unrelenting spirit of a Nigeria Youth to collectively change the narrative come 2023.
In Solidarity, we will leverage our full potential as young people to birth the Nigeria of our dreams.
Truly, the future is now! We need to all get involved in the decision-making and leverage our voting strength to make our communities a better place.
We will continue to agitate for the interest of all to Create a World for All Ages. Happy International Youth Day.
