Ondo Sport Commissioner Rallies Sunshine Stars Ahead of AITEO cup showdown with Katsina United
The Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Ondo State, Honourable Dele Ologun has charged Sunshine Stars to sustain their impressive run in the AITEO Cup with a win over Katsina United in today’s round 16 clash at the Area Three pitch, Abuja.
After making light work of Rovers FC in the round of 32, the Owena Whales face their biggest AITEO 2022 Cup test yet in the shape of Katsina United, and the Commssioner is rallying the troop to overcome the Chanji Boys and go all the way in the competition.
Ologun whose ministry now superintendents over ODSFA gave the charges through ex international turned admnistrator, Tunde Ogunja who addressed the players Wednesday morning in Abuja on behalf of the Commssioner.
“Government is continum; be rest assured that your needs and welfare will be taken care of as usual. No tension, you are all secured. You guys are doing well and you should sustain the tempo.
“The Honourable Commssioner want you to go out there today and overrun Katsina United and progress. You can go all the way and win the tournament.” Ogunja said
In addition to the winning bonus, Honourable Ologun has made two hundred naira (N200,000) pledge to the team for a win over Katsina United, a gesture Prince Ogunja is supporting with one hundred thousand naira (N100,000).
