Just In : Tension in Ondo as strange statement written on Primary schooI Blackboard
There is palpable tension at Ilara Mokin, Ifedore local government area of Ondo state after a strange statement was written on a primary school blackboard, posing security threats on the community.
It was gathered that parents have been withdrawing their children from the school ( name withheld) for fear of possible abduction.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, says the ondo state command has taken proactive measures to maintain law and order in the school and curtail any security threat at Ilara mokin town.
A statement by, Daniel Aidamenbor,
Public Relations Officer, NSCDC Ondo command says “The State Commandant, Dr Hammed Abodunrin has deployed Quick Response Squad of the Command to IlaraMokin at Ifedore Local Government Area in response to the statement written on the wall of the Apostolic Primary School, IlaraMokin.
“The team led by the Armed Squad Commander, SC Bitrus DK where at the Local Government for routine patrol and on the spot security assessment of the area.
“The Quick Response Squad also visited The Apostolic Primary School located at Oke-Adura and Elizade University, Ilara Mokin where observations were made and advice given on how to improve on the security architecture of the University
“The State Commandant assured the people of the town of the team preparedness to maintain routine patrol in the local government.”
