Today, the Leader of the party and Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari met with Governors under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the forthcoming special convention.
President Buhari charged the APC Governors to ensure that the forthcoming National Convention to pick a presidential candidate reflects the values and virtues of the party.
According to the media aide to the President, Femi Adesina, Buhari appealed to all the Governors to allow their interests to converge and their focus to remain on the changing dynamics of the environment and the expectations of the citizens of the country.
He added that their objective must be the victory of the All Progressives Congress.
