Just In : Group Raised Alarm on Purported Affirmation of Ward Congress in Owo Ose Federal Constituency
……..Says Adetimehin, Balogun And Adelegbe Must be called to Order……..
The attention of Abiola Oshodi Campaign Council has be drawn to unconstitutional activities around the two lical Governments of the purported affirmation of by just an aspirant (outgoing member representing Owo/Ose Federal Constituency,Hon Timilehin Adelegbe) as supported by State, Owo and Ose local government Chairmen of the party (APC).
Much as we would not like to waste our precious time in responding to this fallacy and futile activities, but for the sake of not allowing them to unnecessarily hoodwink and mislead party members, hence the need to clear the air.
For the sake of records, at no time did it happen that ward delegates that is selected through an undemocratic method be affirmed as a Party delegates for the coming Primary election in the Constituency accros the 23 wards in both local governments.
Information at our disposal has it that Adelegbe in concert with the local government chairmen of the party are now going round the wards seeking for his endorsement as the sole aspirant of the party and affirmation of the backyard selected delegates. This is a lie that can only be believed by undescerning minds.
Having ignored the procedures made available by the Party (APC) to elect delegates through congress as backed by Democratic ethos, it is not only laughable but disgusting that only dishornourable men could result to this show of shame.
These fruitless efforts to mislead the public is nothing but an indication that defeat is only staring them in the face. A sinking man will attempt to hold on to any straw to keep floating.
The public and particularly the Party fateful of our great party, the All Progressive Congress (APC) are by this piece alerted once again that Adelegbe and his cronies, having perceived imminent defeat, are looking for ways for to cut corners by thwarting democratic norms and principles.
Please, be informed once again that at no time was Adelegbe endorsed as THE SOLE CANDIDATE FOR OWO/OSE FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY and the national headquarter has not in anyway given instruction on affirmation of delegates. If he has done well for the people, there would not have been any need for him to run helter skelter during the Party Primary election.
As for Dr. Abiola Oshodi, the APC leading aspirant for Owo/Ose federal constituency MHR election, we are focussed on winning the primary election and not deterred by all this shenanigans displayed by unpopular individuals who feel that the only way to winning is through inordinate manner. We urged our teaming supporters to be assured of Dr. Abiola Oshodi victory both in Primary and general election.
